![]() That's why it's important to eliminate all the closer enemies before luring Hortensia toward you! This means being anywhere close to Hortensia is dangerous especially if her allies are nearby. Additionally, Hortensia gains the “All for One” attack which allows all her allies within 2 spaces to chain attack when she initiates combat. Lucina allows her to participate in chain attacks as if they were a backup unit. Hortensia has two bars of 33HP and an Emblem Ring (Lucina). Make sure to prioritize taking out the Qi Adept units to prevent them from chain-guarding their allies. Once a few of them are back together you can move onto the other side to begin luring in Hortensia. Hold off on crossing onto the right half of the battlefield until some of your other units have caught up. Think of Micaiah as a backup and use save Great Sacrifice in case Hortensia deals with a major attack on one of your units She can then use Override with Ridersbane to deal massive damage to them both and even defeat them. With Chloe’s placement, you can also Engage her with Sigurd to reach the two backup/lance enemies on the top side. This will also help draw away the enemies that are standing in the protection tiles. Fending off all those attacks will give them lots of Exp, and SP, and increase their bond with Celica. This leaves them open to a lot of enemy attacks. If you’re feeling bold, you can have Alear Engage with Celica and then have them use Warp Ragnarok to attack the foes near the center of the field (while staying on the left half of the battlefield. Therefore, you shouldn’t need to worry about her while you remain on the left half. ![]() She’ll pretty much stay in place until you cross the central barricades into her half of the battlefield. To win the battle you need to defeat Hortensia. Chloe can just fly across the center without trouble. The path through the center is blocked therefore, you’ll want to split the upper half and the lower half to flank around the obstacles. Once the battle begins, Alcryst, Citrinne, and Lapis will join your army. Or have another unit, like Framme, nearby with a Mend or Healing Staff.įor our setup, we’re using (starting from the top left): Vander/Marth, Boucheron, Alfred, Yunaka/Micaiah, Alear/Celica, Chloe/Sigurd, Framme, Erie, and Celine. If you plan on using Micaiah’s sync skill Great Sacrifice, make sure to have a leftover meal or vulneraries in the unit's inventory to allow them to heal. This can allow her to more easily reach whoever might need healing. Yunaka can be a useful healer in this regard due to her higher movement than the other base classes. Therefore, whoever you pair Micaiah with should also have a Healing Staff in their inventory. Her sync ability allows the unit to use staves regardless of class. Micaiah is the newest addition to the time. Additionally, Engaging with him will allow them to have supereffective sword attacks against the axe users near the center of the battlefield. Marth increases their ability to dodge attacks, which they generally are poor at due to their low avoidance and speed. ![]() Marth should be paired with anyone you wish to have on the front lines. It also allows Alear to use Ragnarok to move a large distance, although, on the current battlefield, the darkness limits this greatly. This gives Alear a ranged attack which they normally do not have. This combined with Sigurd’s boost to movement allows Chloe to be a powerful force practically anywhere on the battlefield.Ĭelica allows Alear to use Seraphym when Engaged. As a flying unit, Chloe can often pass over objects would block grounded units. Pairing Chloe with Sigurd is an extremely powerful combination. The weapon will have no additional effect if the opponent cannot move to the adjacent space (because there’s already a unit or a wall). The significance of smash weapons is that they deal high damage and can knock opponents one space away. When you attack enemies with a smashing weapon, they’ll be able to counter you before you hit them. Lapis wields an Iron Sword which has the smash ability. Alcryst will also be a great unit against flyers, and since the thin battlefield forces your allies to stick together, it’ll also benefit from his personal skill.Ĭitrine is a mage and wields Thunder, which allows her to hit units up to three spaces away. Although you cannot swap their positions before the battle, Alcryst, Citrinne, and Lapis will join your army when once the battle begins. This will allow them to attack enemies from up to two spaces away.Įtie will also be a massive help because her bow makes her super effective against fliers. Make sure to equip them both with Hand Axes if you can. Consider positioning your axe fighters in the front and top of the area. There are a lot of lance users on the enemy’s first line.
